Screen printing for interiors and gifts

A two day course for beginners to intermediate level screen printing for textile and paper products.

Time: 10am -5pm over two Saturdays

Price: £155

Taught within the gallery and print rooms at Stew Art Studios by Vicki Johnson and supported by Jo Stafford. The course has a maximum of 4 places to ensure a high standard of support is given to each participant.

Use your own inspiration and the resources provided including magazines, trend information and colour pallets as a starting point, develop your own original and personal print designs using the range of art materials provided. Experiment with pattern composition and scale, learning how to adapt your art work to make it suitable for screen printing across the range of supplied blank products including tea towels, aprons, bags and cards.

Learn how the screen printing process works with interactive demonstrations before printing your blank products with support from Vicki and Jo.

Outcomes:

*    A range of textile products and cards screen printed in your own designs.
*    Drawings, design development and test prints.
*    1 years print room membership and induction pack which will allow you to book future session
     in the print rooms independently.
*    Textile inks for your next printing project!

Once availability is confirmed, to secure your place please send a cheque for £77.50 as a deposit, made payable to Vicki Johnson. The balance is payable on the day one of the course.
